Virtual Trivia Night
TL;DR
June 18, 2020 @5:30 PM. Teams of 4. Captain = Active TSPE member. Teams Live. Conference call your teammates. Email your answers to [email protected]. We will explain the rules on the day.
Who Can Participate?
Anyone! But team leaders must be an active TSPE member in good standing. Please limit your team to a maximum of 4 people.
How Do I Register?
Email your team leader name and contact information to [email protected].
How Will this Work?
This socially distant trivia event will be hosted via Microsoft Teams Live, so you can play from the comfort of your home. The team leader will receive a meeting link, which can be forwarded to the teammates. You and your teammates will log in to the live event a couple minutes before it starts AND call each other using the communication device of your choice – my recommendation would be to use the conference call feature on your cell phones.
There will be 4-6 rounds of 10 questions each. You will have 30 seconds from the time the question is read to confer with your team and submit your answers. Answers will be submitted by 1 designated team member via email. All pertinent information should be in the email subject line to make it easy on our score keeper. See answer format below. I recommend setting up all your answer sheets at the beginning of each round to save precious answer time! See below for format:

Why Teams Live?
Because your answers are supposed to be a secret from the other teams and if we all jump on a call then everyone will be able to hear you!
Are there Prizes?
Yes! The team leader of the top 3 teams will be awarded a $25 gift card to the LOCAL, SMALL BUSINESS of their choice. It’s up to them if they want to share with their team by hosting a happy hour when it is safe to gather, give it to a team all-star or keep it for themselves. Mad about it? Become a member and start a team of your own!
Can We Cheat?
Technically speaking we have no way to know if you’re using google to look up answers, so this contest is on your honor. Just remember that if you do cheat, you’re disgracing your profession for the chance to win a $25 gift card. You’re also sucking all the fun out of things for everyone else and that would be super lame.
